On Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2017, Agua International Water Relief sent a team to pour out your love on the global refugee crisis in the Mediterranean Sea. Their primary goals were to: 1) Embrace, encourage, and support already established ongoing relief operations 2) Identify and respond to unmet needs 3) Explore small business and educational initiatives. If you want to have a direct impact on the Category 1 Humanitarian Super Crisis please consider donating through us and we will make sure to pass it along to the most appropriate need in our partnership network, or utilize it for a mission related return trip.
The second half of our refugee relief trip we followed up with our relatives at Malakasa Refugee Camp and Oinofyta Refugee Camp where we examined what we learned about as desperate situation at Konitsa Refugee Camp along the northern border near Albania. We then raised an additional $1,000 and went on to Thessaloniki.
Please keep in mind that: 1) We are all volunteers 2) We all self supported our trip working hard to make a maximum impact with your gift 3) We are also working in the background on developing an international capacity building, education, and sustainable economic development plan for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
Please help fill our cup as we pour ourselves out.
$5, $10, $50, $100 anything you can give from your abundance of hope and relative wealth at this point will help us - help them.
